Together for everyone!

The many staff members working for MPs and parliamentary groups are indispensable to the functioning of parliament. Here, too, the far right is involved in the battle for representative positions. The 2,062 parliamentary assistants (APAs – Accredited Parliamentary Assistants) – as of April 2025, 1,046 of whom are women and 1,016 men – have elected their internal representatives. According to euractiv, a broad coalition ran ‘against a far-right list’, i.e. the opposite of a Venezuela Majority: "The list 'Together for all APAs' ranges from the left-wing faction to the ECR and wants to see APAs on business trips and improvements to the canteen and gym. Also in the running is the list 'APA in the service of responsibility', led by assistants from the far-right Patriots and an assistant from the German AfD."
The ECR's participation in the opposing list had caused significant criticism in the far-right camp.

The newly elected 13-member APA Committee is led by two co-presidents: Tara Hadviger (S&D) and Katarzyna (Kasia) Biniaszczyk (EPP). The ECR, like the PfE, has two representatives (Christian Sentinelli, Fratelli d'Italia, and Iolanda Marlena Badilita from the Romanian AUR for the ECR, and Davide D'Orazio, Lega, and Emmanouil Koulas from the Greek FL for the PfE). The ESN – represented by an assistant to AfD member Markus Buchheit – is not represented on the new committee.
