31. 01. 2026 ESN party New Year's youth reception

New Year's 'youth reception' of the ESN party was held in Chemnitz (Saxony, Germany), entitled "Our future. Our Europe. Our year". The event was organized by the Saxonian branch of the 'Generation Deutschland', youth wing of the AfD and hosted by Lennard Scharpe, head of the Generation Deutschland Saxony.

A keynote was delivered by Siegbert Droese (MEP AfD), international guests were Alexander Aleksiev (Head of Vazrazhdane-Youth, Bulgaria), Olga Tietz (Party for Freedom and direct Democracy, Czechia - SPD), Csanad Horvath (MiHazank-Youth, Hungary). Other guests were Victor Nedelchev (Bulgaria), Corina Elisabeth Stichmann (Hungary), Robert Tietz (Czechia).

The Generation Deutschland Saxony was found on the very same day by nearly 70 members at the same venue according to their social media. The board consists of:

The head of the AfD in Saxony, Jörg Urban, also attended the meeting and held a keynote.

More than 300 people protested against the meeting of the Generation Deutschland outside of the venue.
