Until last week, the current president and Workers’ Party candidate for reelection, Lula da Silva, was leading in the polls. But a new scandal involving Banco Master and the Supreme Federal Court justice who ordered Jair Bolsonaro’s arrest, Alexandre de Moraes, appears to be giving far-right candidate Flávio Bolsonaro an edge—even though Lula is not directly involved in the scandal and Flávio is.
