AfD member of parliament from Brandenburg visits British Nazi party

At the end of April, Lena Kotré was a guest at the British Homeland Party's Remigration Conference in Bourne (Lincolnshire, UK). The member of the Brandenburg state parliament was introduced there as her party's spokesperson “for remigration.” In a ten-minute speech, Kotré spoke about the reasons for the success of the AfD, which she described as a “popular movement” in Brandenburg (here on X). Although the far right is treated differently than others, it will not back down. “We don't have the same rights as others; often we are not even granted the most basic human rights,” said Kotré. She described alleged repressive measures against the AfD as follows: "We are the most monitored organization in Germany. Not even the mafia is as heavily infiltrated as we are. Our communications are monitored, all conversations are recorded. Every AfD member is a public figure, whether they like it or not.“ (Translation ReGA)

In her speech, Kotré called for deportation centers for people who are required to leave the country, where they would be detained until they could be deported, even if this ”took a lifetime." She also called for the privatization of deportations, as the state had not carried this out efficiently. “With a functioning deportation industry, Germany could once again become an exporting nation. (Laughter)”

Giggling anti-semites

According to the British anti-fascist newspaper Searchlight, Kenny Smith, chairman of the Homeland Party, was asked by someone in the audience during the conference what would happen with “Semitic remigration” in addition to “African and Asian remigration.” Smith couldn't resist. He laughed and replied, “Anyone who doesn't belong here has to go.” And his audience cheered... Ant Burrows, Kenny Smith, Branco Roric, and Alec Cave sat on stage with Kotré. Renaud Camus from France, who had also been announced, was denied entry and his contribution was played via video. According to Searchlight, the contribution was played at 1.2 times the normal speed because the lecture was endlessly long and boring.

British observers describe the Homeland Party as currently the largest fascist party in the UK, with clear links to the violent Nazi scene. It was formed in 2023 as a predominantly Scottish splinter group of the neo-Nazi Patriotic Alternative. In mid-March, members of the British Homeland Party were given a tour of the German Bundestag. They were invited by AfD member of parliament Steffen Kotré, a member of the AfD faction's foreign policy working group.
